The famous VOGELWEID house was built in 1929 and inhabited by Carl Zuckmayer and his family from 1957 onwards. Between 2007 and 2009, the house was restored to its original condition as a three-family house and extensively renovated without altering the character of the property. This apartment is the jewel of the property. The ambience is authentic, and history permeates the rooms. Zuckmayer had his study here. Today, the apartment offers three wood-panelled bedrooms with built-in cupboards and wooden floors, a very spacious living area with an open fireplace and separate dining area, a bathroom and a shower. The south-facing conservatory invites you to linger.
